Last post before baby?

Right. Well. So. There's about 10 hours to go now before I'm due at the hospital. I have been very good at keeping busy all day, the only thing I didn't manage to do was scrub the bathroom. But I'm sure mum wont mind too much. I'll give it a once over with a sponge and spray after I wash in the morning, it'll only tale 5 mins in my tiny tiny bathroom.

I'm sat here in my nightie and robe, with my penultimate raspberry leaf tea. I'm saving the last one to have with breakfast. The kitchen is gleaming, Jack is tucked into his cot (reluctantly, but I explained that Nana needed to borrow his bed just for a few nights and he accepted it, bless him). We've all had a lovely roast pork loin dinner. The cupboards are full of shopping and everyone has clean bedding. Bags are all packed and ready to go.

All I  need to do now is dry my hair and try to get a good night's sleep. We've opted to get a taxi to the hosp in the morning rather than have mum take us, mainly so that Jack wont get upset when we get out of the car and he doesn't. This way we can say bye and he can shut the front door on us, rather than us walk away from him. He finds that easier to deal with...

I'm reasonably relaxed about the whole thing now. I'm going to miss Jack terribly. I have some slight concerns about what if the induction doesn't work as well as it could and baby gets into distress but I'm sure that's just nerves. The RLI are very good and I know we're in safe hands. I'm just ... well, it's like a kid waiting for Christmas or something. That'll be the only reason I don't sleep well tonight. Excitement, not worry or stress.

So really this is my fair ye well and see you on the other side post, because I can't see me having any time to post in the morning. Not if we have to be out of the house by 7.40am. I've got used to not getting out of bed till 8am!
